The error code tells you which of four things happened. Read it before you retype anything.
401 — credentials or expiry
Usually a typo the field is hiding. Mobile keyboards capitalise the first letter and autocorrect a lowercase username into a word. Turn autocorrect off or paste from a notes app. If the password is definitely right, check the expiry date — expired lines return 401 while the panel still lists the account.
403 — blocked IP or connection count
You are at the stream limit. A player left open on a phone in another room blocks the TV and the message is identical to a wrong password. Force-stop it. If nobody else is watching, ask support to clear the counter — normal request, takes seconds.
Timeout — network, not login
The request never arrived. Check the connection before touching credentials.
The clock
Xtream signs the login with a timestamp. A few minutes of drift and every attempt fails on a correct password. Automatic time, then retry.
Three fields, not one
Pasting a full M3U into the username box is the most common mistake on the page. Host, username, password — three boxes.
Repeated “too many connections” with nobody watching
The credentials are circulating. Change the password; it kills every other session at once.
Where the expiry date actually is
In the order email, and in the panel under the account row. If neither is to hand, support reads it off the line in one message. Guessing at it wastes an evening.
Changing the password without locking yourself out
Change it in the panel, then update every device before you close the tab — the old password stops working everywhere at once, including on the TV in the other room.
Panel password and app password are not the same thing
Your panel login gets you into the billing area. The line has its own username and password, and they are what goes into the player. Mixing them up returns 401 every time and looks like a wrong password on a correct account.
Still 401 after all of it
Then it is the account, and only support can see why. Send the exact error and the device name — that is the whole ticket.
Często zadawane pytania
Why does a correct password still return 401?
Either the device clock has drifted and the login is time-signed, or the line has expired. Both return 401 on a password that is actually right.
What does 403 mean?
Blocked IP or an exhausted connection count. A stream left open on another device produces exactly this.
Can I share my login?
Yes, up to the connection limit of your plan. The entry plan allows one stream at a time.
