Launch Kodi and Access Settings

Start by opening Kodi on your device and navigating to the settings menu:

  1. From the Kodi home screen, click on the gear icon to access Settings
  2. In Kodi v17 (Krypton), the settings interface has been redesigned with a more modern look

Navigate to PVR IPTV Simple Client

In Kodi v17 (Krypton), the process to access the PVR client is slightly different:

  1. From the Settings menu, select Add-ons
  2. Then choose Install from repository
  3. Selecione Kodi Add-on repository
  4. Navegue até Clientes PVR

Observação

If you don't see the PVR IPTV Simple Client, ensure that your Kodi installation includes the official Kodi Add-on repository. This should be included by default in standard installations.

Install and Configure the PVR Client

After selecting the PVR IPTV Simple Client, you need to install and configure it:

  1. Clique no Instalar button to download and install the add-on
  2. Once installed, click on Configurar
  3. Navegue até o Em geral tab

  5. Enter your M3U URL provided by your serviço IPTV
  6. Clique OK to save your configuration

Dica profissional

Your M3U URL should be in the format: http://provider.domain/get.php?username=YOUR_USERNAME&password=YOUR_PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus. Make sure to replace the placeholders with your actual credentials.

Configure EPG (Optional but Recommended)

To get program guide information for your channels, you should also configure the EPG (Electronic Program Guide):

  1. Within the PVR IPTV Simple Client configuration, go to the EPG tab
  2. Habilitar Configurações do EPG if not already enabled
  3. Set the EPG URL to the one provided by your serviço IPTV
  4. Maioria Serviços de IPTV provide an XMLTV EPG URL in the format: http://provider.domain/xmltv.php?username=YOUR_USERNAME&password=YOUR_PASSWORD

Observação

Some IPTV providers include EPG data within the M3U playlist. In such cases, you can leave the EPG URL field empty. Check with your provider for specific instructions.

Restart Kodi and Access IPTV Channels

After configuring the PVR client, restart Kodi to apply all changes:

  1. Close and relaunch Kodi application
  2. Once Kodi has restarted, you should see a notification that the PVR client is connected
  3. From the Kodi home screen, navigate to TV option
  4. You should now see all your channels listed and available for viewing

You can customize the channel view in Kodi by using filters and favorites. Press the context menu button (usually C key on keyboard or long-press on remote) while a channel is selected to access additional options.
