Video without audio means the device is decoding the picture and refusing the sound. Almost always that is AC-3 or E-AC-3, which plenty of TVs and sticks have no licence for. The channel is fine. Your hardware is missing a codec.
Change the audio track
Most channels carry several — different languages, different codecs. Open the track menu mid-playback and pick another. Sound returns? The default track was the unlicensed one.
Software decoding handles AC-3 in-app
Settings → Decoder → SW. Costs a little CPU, fixes the silence. This is the standard answer on anything without a Dolby licence.
PCM, not passthrough
Feeding a soundbar or receiver? Passthrough sends a bitstream the receiver may reject outright. Device sound settings → Digital output → PCM. Stereo appears immediately.
Rule out the TV
Mute, a headphone plug left in a jack, a sound mode set to “dialogue”. Play a YouTube video on the same device. Silent there too? IPTV was never the problem.
Corrupt audio profile
Persists across channel changes. Clear cache, not data, and relaunch.
One app silent, every other app fine
Damaged install. Reinstall the current build.
One channel silent everywhere
The feed lost its audio upstream. Every device, every track, same result — that is a provider fix and usually corrected within the hour. Worth a message rather than a workaround.
Bluetooth
Adds 150 to 300 ms and on some sticks forces the pipeline into a low-quality profile that drops out under load. If sound only stutters on Bluetooth, that is why. Wired removes it.
Which devices lack which codec
Fire TV Stick Lite, most 2019–2021 budget panels, and anything running a stock the mobile OS build without a Dolby licence will fail on AC-3 and E-AC-3. a TV maker and a TV maker sets from the last two years usually pass AC-3 through their own decoder and fail only on E-AC-3. A box with Kodi or VLC installed will play both, because the software decoder is bundled.
What to send support if it is one channel
The channel name, the device, and whether the other tracks are silent too. That is enough for them to confirm an upstream fault without a round of questions.

Часто задаваемые вопросы
Why does only one channel have no sound?
That feed lost its audio upstream. If every track on that channel is silent on every device, it is a provider fix rather than yours.
Does software decoding hurt picture quality?
No. It costs CPU, not quality. On a weak stick it can cause stutter, in which case PCM output on the hardware decoder is the better route.
Does this affect recordings?
Yes. A recording made while the audio track is unplayable keeps the same silent track.
